Louise Omer is a writer born on Kaurna Country, Australia. Her first book Holy Woman: A divine adventure was shortlisted for Non Fiction in the 2024 NT Chief Minister's Book Awards. Her poems and essays have been included in anthologies On This Ground: Best Australian Nature Writing and Romance Options: Love Poems for Today, and is represented by literary agent Jane Novak.
She has published and performed work in Ireland, the UK, Spain, Indonesia, Australia, and the US. Louise was the Artistic Director of the NT Writers Festival 2025 - 2026 and now lives in County Meath, Ireland.
